Welcome to Making It. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service, along with our Returns and Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Products and Orders

We sell a mix of ready-made, custom-made and personalised products, along with workshops, lessons and demonstrations.

All orders are subject to availability. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order where reasonably necessary, including where a product is unavailable, there is a pricing error, or we believe the order breaches these terms or any applicable law. If we cancel an order after payment has been made, we will refund the amount paid.

Custom and Personalised Orders

Please check all names, dates, spelling, colours, sizes and other details carefully before placing your order.

By placing a custom or personalised order, you confirm that the information you provide is correct. We are not responsible for mistakes caused by incorrect information supplied or approved by you.

Custom and personalised orders cannot be cancelled, changed, returned or refunded for change of mind once production has started, unless required under the Australian Consumer Law.

Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars unless otherwise stated.

Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed.

We reserve the right to correct errors in product information, pricing or availability at any time. If this affects your order, we will contact you.

Consumer Rights

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If an item has a major problem, you may be entitled to a refund or replacement. If the problem is minor, we may choose to repair, replace or refund the item within a reasonable time.

Workshops, Lessons and Demonstrations

Workshops, lessons and demonstrations may be subject to specific terms provided at the time of booking.

We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a booking where reasonably necessary, including due to illness, equipment issues or circumstances outside our control. Where we cancel a paid booking, we will offer a reschedule, credit or refund as appropriate.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, product descriptions, graphics and logos, belongs to Making It unless otherwise stated.

You must not copy, reproduce or use any content from this website without our prior written permission.

If you provide artwork, files, wording or other content for a custom order, you confirm that you have the right to use it.

You must not use this website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that may harm the website or our business.

We do our best to keep the website accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or purchase of our products or services.
